Spring Retreat

A weekend full of yoga, art and mindfulness. Lacuna Wild offer roaming retreats for the curious. Join us in nature as we explore our inner world through portrait classes, creative thinking classes, metta meditation, yin yoga, myofascial roll and release workshops. Set in the beautiful Premalaya we will nurture your creative side as we connect deeper to the inner and outer world.

Our retreat includes:

7 classes/workshops with Janni and Kylie

2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches with unlimited tea and coffee

A welcome gift with surprise goodies

Held at Premalaya, a beautiful property surrounded by trees in Yallingup.

Schedule:

Friday:

Evening: After a 7pm ayurvedic dinner we will sit together for a cacao ceremony and yoga Nidra. A chance to let go of your week and immerse yourself in the retreat setting. After yoga we will encourage a regenerative and contemplative silence to be held until the following mornings creative thinking class.

Saturday:

Morning: We start with a 7am meditation followed by mat-work. After breakfast we will break silence with a creative thinking class.

Afternoon: Free time to explore the local beaches, forests and cafes.

Late afternoon: Begins with stretch class which involves of a 2 hour yin / myofascial release workshop to help rehydrate the fascia, regain mobility, enhance proprioception and down regulate your nervous system.

Evening: Following another ayurvedic dinner we will sit together for a decadent portraiture drawing class, with local wine and cheese boards included.

Sunday:

Morning: We start with meditation and mat-work before breakfast. You will then have time to check out (10am) before a reflective/cathartic writing workshop accompanied by lunch.

Food: we serve Ayurvedic meals.

The word Ayurveda translates as ’the science/knowledge of life’. It’s an Indian system of medicine that stems back 5000 years. Ayurveda incorporates many modalities including diet, lifestyle, yoga, herbs, meditation and massage plus much more. It is a wholistic approach to life, to find balance, wellness, happiness and health.

The food that we serve at Lacuna Wild Retreats is all Ayurvedic based. A unique, uplifting combination of vegetarian food to suit your constitution, easily digestible and middle spiced. Ayurvedic principles and foods work with the body’s innate intelligence to promote natural self-healing.
